Join Delaware Governor John Carney and other celebrity riders on Sunday, May 21 for a scenic 24-kilometer (15 miles) cycle tour through Brandywine Valley cultural attractions. The Wilmington Grand Prix Governor’s Ride will offer recreational cyclists the unique opportunity to ride through world-class institutions such as Hagley Museum & Gardens and Winterthur Museum, Garden and Library. Experience one of the most scenic cycling routes in the U.S. as the Wilmington Grand Prix’s 10th Annual Delaware Gran Fondo offers cyclists the unique opportunity to traverse a challenging 100-kilometer (62 miles) course linked by 13 cultural attractions, including stunning rides through world-class institutions such as Delaware Art Museum, Hagley Museum & Gardens, Granogue and Winterthur Museum, Garden and Library. The Delaware Gran Fondo will allow cyclists the rare privilege of passing through these attractions on the same ride. The 2022 Fondo was a sell-out with riders from 18 states and four countries, including Australia, Canada and Great Britian as well as Florida, Colorado, Texas and Illinois, participating in Delaware’s premier ride.
