Thereโ€™s trouble in River City when a fast-talking salesman gets his heart stolen by the town librarian.

Meredith Willsonโ€™s six-time, Tony Award-winning musical comedy "The Music Man follows" fast-talking traveling salesman, Harold Hill, as he cons the people of River City, Iowa, into buying instruments and uniforms for a boysโ€™ band that he vows to organize โ€“ this, despite the fact that he doesnโ€™t know a trombone from a treble clef. His plans to skip town with the cash are foiled when he falls for Marian, the librarian, who transforms him into a respectable citizen by curtainโ€™s fall.

Featuring songs such as โ€œSeventy-Six Trombones,โ€ โ€œTrouble,โ€ โ€œโ€˜Til There Was You,โ€ โ€œPickalittleโ€ and โ€œGary, Indiana,โ€ The Music Man is a family-friendly story to be shared with every generation.

๐Ÿ“St. Stephenโ€™s Lutheran Church, 1301 N. Broom St, Wilmington

"Between the Lines" is a musical adaptation of the young adult novel by Jodi Picoult and Samantha van Leer that follows Delilah, an unhappy, socially alienated teenager struggling with her parentsโ€™ divorce and the pressures of a new high school.

Seeking escape, she finds solace in a fairy tale book titled Between the Lines, where she becomes captivated by its protagonist, Prince Oliver. As the boundaries between reality and fiction blur, Delilah discovers that Oliver is aware of his existence within the book and is equally desperate to escape his repetitive, scripted life.

Through their magical connection, the two fall in love while exploring themes of self-discovery and the power of forging oneโ€™s own path, ultimately learning that while they cannot change their respective worlds, they possess the agency to write their own stories and navigate the challenges of reality.
