This Midnight Mahj Night will be hosted at DuPont Country Club (don’t worry— you don’t need to be a member!)—where timeless gameplay meets effortless social connection.
Designed for all levels of experience, this series offers a welcoming space to learn, practice, and play mahjong in a relaxed, beautifully set environment. Whether you’re brand new to the tiles or a seasoned player looking for consistent, engaging play, there’s a seat at the table for you.
Each evening features a thoughtful blend of:
- Mahj 101 Lesson tables for beginners and those building confidence (beginners or advanced beginners with little to no prior lesson or mahjong experience; full lesson)
- Guided Play tables with hands-on support and strategy tips (advanced beginners/intermediate players with prior lesson or mahjong experience; assisted play)
- Open Play tables for experienced players ready to dive right in (intermediate to expert players who can play independently) (must bring own 2026 National Mah Jongg League rule card)
Guests are invited to arrive between 6:30-6:45 PM to mingle, enjoy dessert selections and cash bar, and settle in before gameplay begins. Mahjong instruction and play will begin promptly at 7:00 PM.
