When Wilmington filmmaker Benjamin Wagner was diagnosed with post-traumatic stress syndrome, he saw the impact of trauma and adverse stress all around him. Inspired by Fred Rogers, the subject of his 2012 PBS documentary “Mister Rogers & Me,” he decided to “look for the helpers” healing our anxious and uncertain communities.
A Q&A with the filmmaker plus local cast members Alonna Berry (former Director of DE Community and Family Services), Logan Herring (WRK Group CEO), Matthew Tousignant (Somatic Psychotherapist), and Lauren Scott (Certified School Counselor) will follow the premiere screening (May 2). A Q&A with the filmmaker will follow subsequent screenings (May 11 and 12).
