Last week, the Pittsburg area newsgroup TribLIVE Media, published a fantastic article highlighting the Wilmington and Brandywine area as their RoadTrip! destination. The article encourages residents to pick a weekend and venture to some of the great events hosted in our community. The WilmFilm Festival, Winterthur Steeplechase Races, Wilmington Flower Market, and the River Dragon Boat Festival are just some of the spring events featured in the article, although IN Wilmington subscribers know that there are even dozens more worth the drive.
We all know that our community is active and involved and it’s great to see that message spreading, despite other reputations published about Wilmington. Here at the IN Wilmington offices, we are excited for the upcoming and ongoing event season and hope everyone has a fun and safe spring season!
