In addition to Hollywood blockbusters, Penn Cinema Riverfront offers select classic features, independent films, IMAX Documentaries, and alternative content, including satellite telecasts of live performances, concerts, and shows. Penn Cinema Riverfront is also available for private screenings, field trips, and corporate meetings.
History
Established in 2012.
Penn Cinema Riverfront + IMAX is one of the newest destinations along the Wilmington Riverfront. The theater opened in December 2012 with the latest and greatest in movie theater technology and amenities including digital sound and projection, 3D capabilities, high-back leather stadium seating, and Delaware’s first and only IMAX Theatre.
