The Community Education Building
This new initiative is a result of the generosity of Bank of America and the Longwood Foundation, and is dedicated to offering a world-class public education experience to over 2,000 students in Wilmington, Delaware. The CEB will partner with high performing charter schools and community-based support organizations to achieve its vision of preparing students as citizens of a global village.
It is our belief that all children can excel academically, and if Delaware is to be globally competitive, it must have a world class K-12 public education system. It is our desire that the Community Education Building be a catalyst for quality education for children in the City of Wilmington, which, in turn, could drive improved education across the county and the state.
