Join us on a Walk & Sketch Tree Tour inspired by the Estate’s 300-year-old Tulip Poplar with artist and naturalist Amanda B. Kimball.
Explore the structures and shapes of the Estate’s most unique trees, including the oldest: affectionately known as “Alfred’s Poplar”. Participants will learn creative techniques for sketching on paper. This program is a wonderful introduction to nature journaling, or a fun exercise for experienced artists. All supplies will be included with the cost of the program.
Registration is required and space is limited. Program ticket includes cost of admission to Nemours Estate for the date of the program, starting at 10:00 a.m. Buildings are open until 4:30 p.m., and the grounds close at 5:00 p.m.
