Jester Artspace presents another special Tuesday Sketch Night.
Kristen Margiotta is a Delaware-based oil painter, artist, and art educator with 20 years of professional experience. Fire, dripping pearl tears, and white lilies are abundant in her work. Themes such as transformation, love, and loss are intricately woven into powerful amalgamations, giving rise to beautiful imagery and provocative messages.
You’ll sketch her a series of short poses (1 and 5 minutes) that progress to 20-minute poses and end with a 30-minute pose. Bring your art supplies and draw or paint the objects using your preferred medium. There will be a cool soundtrack to inspire you. Teens and accompanied minors under 16 are welcome.
Even if you don’t consider yourself an artist, our drawing sessions offer unique and enriching experiences. They are a chance to be present, focus on observation, and unleash your creativity, even if it’s just on a piece of paper.
