Soprano and OperaDelaware Company Artist Emily Margevich will lead a cast of enthusiastic youngsters in an adaptation of Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat on August 15 and 16 at the OperaDelaware Studios.
One of the most enduring shows of all time, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat is told entirely through song, classifying it as a Rock Opera. With the help of a Narrator, we follow the life of Joseph who is a dreamer, just like you. Joseph is favored by his father, leading to jealousy and exclusion from his siblings. Although the road isnโt an easy one, opportunity elevates Joseph to power, allowing his family to reunite in an act of forgiveness and love.
