A special screening of “Unseen American Dream” will take place on Friday, May 2 at 7pm at The Screening Room at 1313 in downtown Wilmington.
The short documentary tells the story of Kris Heist and Gary Pizzolo, both blind, living their version of the American dream: raising a family. Journey with them and their sighted twins, Sean and Kelly, as they navigate their ever-changing challenges with resilience and love. The event includes the 20-minute film showing, Q&A with family and filmmakers, and light reception.
Tickets are $5 each. All proceeds go to The Guide Dog Foundation, where Kris and Gary first met!
