Description

Bartram’s Garden is many things to many people: a home for horticulture, the oldest surviving botanic garden in North America, an ancient riverfront, Sankofa Community Farm, and a place of untold histories. The 45-acre National Historic Landmark is located on the banks of the Schuylkill River. We’ll visit the Bartram House and read historic selections of writings from the Bartram family prior to this day of exploration. We’ll conclude the day with a special sit down lunch to relax and reflect. Led by DelNature’s Adult Education Team. Van transportation is included; lunch not included.

Registration is required. This event is expected to sell out.
