Want a deeper look into Rockwood and the people who lived, visited and worked here? While Rockwood Museum’s galleries are under construction to improve accessibility and protect its collections, this outdoor guided tour introduces key members of the Shipley, Bringhurst and Hargraves family of Rockwood through their contributions to the mansion, gardens and estate farm over 120 years.
All guided tours begin at the Museum’s attached Conservatory. Reservations recommended; bring proof of memberships for discounted rates at check-in.
Off-road wheelchair available for use during outdoor tours upon request. Walking over uneven terrain and in a range of mild weather conditions; comfortable shoes and weather-resistant clothing are suggested.
