Description

Join DCH for a special visit to a garden in the suburbs of Wilmington, owned by Marcia Stephenson, DCH’s Director of Advancement. Marcia has been building her home garden for the last 16 years, shared with her husband and two cats. The garden, surrounding their home, is about 2500 square feet, but is packed with over 250 types of plants. “My garden is a continual work in progress that gives me so much pleasure. Finding ways to incorporate many of my favorite plants in creative ways, while still maintaining a sense of design is always the challenge. Perpetually learning and trying new things, gardening is my main creative outlet, my church so-to-speak!” Catered lunch will be provided with the morning visit and heavy hors d’ouevres will be served for the afternoon visit. Wine, beer, and non-alcohol beverages included.

This Learning From Great Gardens is located in Wilmington, DE. Address and directions will be provided upon successful registration.
