Join Rockwood staff for a tour of the estate’s 170-year-old gardens. Highlights include Rockwood’s original 1850s fantasy garden, the modern apothecary garden, one of America’s oldest attached conservatories, and much more. Rockwood was built as a specimen garden at the same time as the Gothic revival mansion – this tour will also discuss the unique origins of the plants collected there throughout its history and their popularization from global colonization efforts by Western powers. Ages 14+. Tour involves some stairs.
