Wilmington, DE 19801
A fundraiser for Wilm Dems co-sponsored by Senator Dan Cruce
JOIN US for a screening of the 2021 documentary Punch 9 for Harold Washington, a film that chronicles how Harold Washington took on corruption and discrimination to become elected as Chicago’s first African-American mayor in 1983 — an election which, in part, inspired Barack Obama to move to the city.
MEET other local Democrats beforehand at a casual happy hour get-together starting at 6pm at The Chancery (upstairs). And afterwards, there will be a short Q&A with the film’s producer, Raymond Lambert!
