Description

A fundraiser for Delaware Center of Horticulture. Hosted by Wilm Dems and sponsored by Senator Dan Cruce.

Watch the 2023 documentary Inundation District, which addresses climate change by spotlighting the continued seaport construction in Boston — a city that has more high-tide flooding than nearly any other in the United States.

Meet other local Democrats beforehand at a casual happy hour get-together starting at 6pm at The Chancery (upstairs).

Inundation District was directed and produced by David Abel, a Pulitzer Prize-winning reporter who covers climate change for The Boston Globe.

The film won Best Conservation Film at the Mystic Film Festival as well as the Monadnock International Film Festival’s Jonathan Daniels Award, which is given to films that “fuse social and/or political awareness with artistic excellence.”
