Description
Celebrating the theme “Representation Matters,” this special event shines a spotlight on the diverse voices and leaders driving urban ag.
The Delaware Urban Farm and Food Coalition (DEUFFC) invites you to join us for a Delaware Agriculture Week event on January 15, 2026, from 5–8 PM at the Delaware Center for Horticulture for an inspiring evening celebrating the theme “Representation Matters.” This special event shines a spotlight on the diverse voices and leaders driving urban agriculture across the Delaware region. Connect with local growers, community organizations, and advocates who are cultivating more inclusive, equitable, and resilient food systems. Enjoy networking and light refreshments during the opening reception, explore tables featuring local partners, and stay for a keynote presentation that will leave you energized to grow change in your own community. Come celebrate diversity in action—because representation matters in every garden, farm, and food initiative.
Arrive as early as 5:00 pm to network with community members, and to learn more about the work of the DEUFFC and how to get involved. Partnering organizations will host displays. Formal program begins at 5:45pm.
This program is in person only; in the event of inclement weather, we will move the program to Zoom. There is no cost, but registration is required. For additional information contact Carrie Murphy, UD Cooperative Extension, [email protected] , 302-831-1426.
