Description
Journey beyond our atmosphere at the next Delaware Teen Science Cafe, Secrets of the Stars. We’ll explore the wonders of space, from distant stars and galaxies to the planets in our own solar system. You’ll get the chance to make your own star projector, learn about stellar evolution, and uncover the science behind our universe. Includes free pizza, snacks, and drinks. Free for teens in grades 7-12 only.
The Delaware Teen Science Cafe is designed for teens in grades 7-12 to engage in STEAM-related topics delivered by local experts in the field. A typical cafe includes a pizza dinner, collaboration, special guest speakers, activities, and more. Programs are hosted by the Teen Leadership Team, who select topics, work with speakers, and promote the events. Pre-registration is required. For the safety of all of the teen participants, this is a drop off program. Only adult DelMNS staff and volunteers who have gone through a background check may be inside the building during the program.
The Delaware Teen Science Cafe is sponsored by Incyte and WSFS.
