Celebrate Martin Luther King Jr. Day with a Fun-Filled Basketball Experience!
Sunday, January 19th,ย join us for theย Delaware Blue Coats MLK FunDay Holiday Campย at the Chase Fieldhouse! This camp is designed for kids ages 6-15, regardless of skill level, and offers a day of basketball development, engaging activities, and celebrating Dr. King’s legacy.
Inspired by the spirit of Dr. King, this camp will focus on:
- Developing Basketball Skills:ย Experienced coaches will lead drills to improve dribbling, passing, shooting, and defensive skills.
- Teamwork and Sportsmanship:ย Through fun games and scrimmages, campers will learn the importance of collaboration and fair play.
- Celebrating Dr. King’s Dream:ย This camp is designed for children of all ages and backgroundsย to have fun on one court, emphasizingย Dr. King’s life and message of equality and justice.
Here’s what’s included in the $65 registration fee:
- Entry to this one day camp
- A commemorative MLK FunDay t-shirt
- Two (2) complimentary tickets to Delaware Blue Coats Sunday January 26th 1pm game
Notes:
- Campers must bring lunch
- Parents may stay at the Chase Fieldhouseย during this clinic but are not allowed on or in the immediate area of the court
- Timing:
- Drop off begins at 8:15am
- Camp runs from 9am-2:45pm
- All student athletes must be picked up by 3pm
