Description
Love is on our minds this February with The Last Five Years at CTC.
This critically acclaimed Drama Desk winner by Jason Robert Brown is an emotionally intimate musical that follows the romance of two New Yorkers who fall in and out of love.Their love story is unconventionally structured in its telling by the couple, with Cathy beginning at the end of the five-year relationship and ending at the beginning, and Jason starting from the beginning of the relationship and ending at its demise, so that the two only meet in real time onstage during their wedding.
โShort, bittersweet and nearly perfect, Brown has come up with a winning combination of music and book that could run longer than the couple he so artfully dissects.โ Robert Hofler for Variety
