Description
But: Life Isn’t Like That, Is It? is the new book by Boff Whalley, musician, author, and a founding member of the anarcho-punk band Chumbawamba and Commoners Choir.
These are stories about real lives and real people – stuttering, wayward, disjointed, funny, ridiculous, and unplanned. – https://boffwhalley.com/
To coincide with the release of ‘But’, Boff is touring both the UK and USA, visiting bookstores and venues to talk about, and sing, the stories that make up the book. Part reading, part gig and part conversation, Boff will play songs from a lifetime of writing and making music, songs which chime with the book, and will draw from a personal history of creative activism.
Boff appears at the Arden Gild Hall on Friday March 28 at 7:30 p.m. Admission is free, although we encourage and appreciate contributions. He will also sell and sign copies of his book after the show. This event is jointly sponsored by the Arden Concert, Library, and Scholars’ Gilds.
Boff will ALSO be staying with his Arden family for this event, so there will be true Arden flavor to the proceedings.
