As part of our April 4, 2025 First Friday Art Loop Celebrations, Bellefonte Arts will present readings of original poetry from 6:30 – 7:30pm by the Bellefonte Arts Poet’s Collective, a gifted group of local writers who meet regularly for The Poet’s Workshop*.
The event will also feature the incomparable Nancy Deavers, host of “Some Truth About Stars”, a popular annual event of poetry, music, and performance art at the Buzz Ware Village Center in Arden.
AREA POETS: A Call To Charm!
There will be an “open mic” opportunity for area poets to share their original work with us and the public and to read a poem or two during this event from 6:30-7:30pm.
To sign up, poets aged 21+, will need to call the Bellefonte Arts Shop during operating hours (302) 762-4278 or stop into the shop and sign up at the desk. Do not leave a message to be returned. Spaces are limited.
Deadline is when the available spaces have been filled up or by Thursday, April 3 at 4:30pm.

*THE POET’S WORKSHOP is a theme-driven exploration of our lives and experiences through spoken/written word and an examination of poetic forms, genres, techniques, styles, and methods as means to revise and refine our work.
