Visitย Bellefonte Arts and view local artist Devronika DeNaye’s exhibition: Dva, All Mixed Up. This exhibit will be on view from Friday, May 1, 2026 through Sunday, May 31, 2026 at Bellefonte Arts during regular shop open hours.
This series reflects the different stages of my personal growth and how I view myself throughout that process. Forever expanding, Imperfect, and always evolving. I want to represent all aspects of myself. My creativity, my quirkiness, the lighter sides and the more somber ones. I wanted to express and portray myself the way I see myself now.
Transformative.
I gave myself the space to sit in the process and let my art, my emotions, and my feelings exist as they are. Hands on, messy, unforgiving, but beyond rewarding.
I stepped outside of my digital world because it began to feel like a box, one I no longer enjoyed or wanted to remain in. And I’ve come to realize that nothing I do has to be linear, especially not my art. I allowed myself to simply create and truly feel. Letting go of the need for perfection or the habit of overanalyzing my work.
This process was therapeutic, fun, and necessary for me. Mixed media is where I began, and itโs where my heart feels most at home now.
