The Arden Concert Gild and WXPN are excited that powerful singer/songwriter Chris Pierce will headline a concert at the Arden (DE) Gild Hall and Sug Daniels, an extraordinary talent in her own right, will open.
Chris Pierce has written some of the most important songs about racial and social injustice in recent memory. His songs have been featured on TV shows ‘This Is Us’ and ‘A Million Little Things’. His most recent album, “American Silence”, ended up in many Best of the Year lists in 2021, including those of NPR, Rolling Stone, No Depression, Acoustic Guitar, and many more. He recently made his debut at Newport Folk Festival with the Black Opry Revue.
Delaware’s Sug Daniels has been a key component of the essential Black Opry Revue. She is also the leader of her kick-ass band Hoochie Coochie.
