Description
This Women’s History Month, the Delaware Historical Society is excited to offer a series of Saturday film screenings presenting histories of women’s social organizing, creative pursuits, and community advocacy. Screenings are available with admission to the Delaware History Museum.
For the final film in the series on Saturday, March 29, we’ll screen “Sisterhood Alive and Well,” which documents the Million Woman March in Philadelphia on October 25, 1997, when black women from across the country gathered to demonstrate their concerns for Black America and to express their sense of unity as a movement that can play an influential role in American society. The screening begins at 1 pm.
