The Wilmington Grand Prix, one of the premier criterium-style bike races in the U.S., kicks off the weekend Friday night(May 19) with the Monkey Hill Time Trial, a 3.2-mile race against the clock through Wilmington’s Brandywine Park. The festive event features food trucks, craft beer & live music. Racers depart every 30 seconds in race against the clock concluding with fabled climb up Monkey Hill. Commuter Challenge benefit for Urban Bike Project is a must-watch spectacle.
