Description
Wilmington Drama League is looking for actors between ages of 7-15 for the March Pillow Play, Supervillians Anonymous. No experience is necessary. Auditions will be readings from the script. Director is Kelly Paustian.
Audition Dates:
Saturday, January 11th from 10am-12pm
Monday, January 13th from 6pm-8pm
Performance Dates:
Saturday, March 1 at 10 and 1 at Wilmington Drama League
Saturday, March 8 at 3pm at the Claymont Library
Synopsis: The city’s supervillains have long been obsessed with defeating unbeatable superhero Wonder Man. That’s why they’re all now at the Supervillains Anonymous support group meeting, ready to give up their evil ways. When Danger Girl, a fiery and determined would-be supervillain looking for a mentor, barges in on the session, the villains use a series of silly flashbacks recounting their last humiliating, yet hilarious, defeats at the hands of Wonder Man. The meeting is interrupted by the surprise appearance of Wonder Man and his sidekick, Star Kid! Can Danger Girl inspire the supervillains to take up their evil ways once again?

Presented by kids, for kids, Pillow Plays are an excellent way to introduce your children to theatre, either as an actor or as an audience member. Shows are enjoyed in the lobby of the Wilmington Drama League and are geared towards children ages 10 and under. Admission is free.
