A solo exhibition of J. Clayton Bright’s sculpture will be on display at the Somerville Manning Gallery from October 21 – November 12, 2022. J. Clayton Bright has been a working sculptor for more than 30 years. He combines his keen power of observation with his highly skilled craftsmanship to create bronzes which radiate with life. Each of his sculptures truly reflects his model’s individual nature and personality. His understanding of the subject’s physical and spiritual attributes allows Bright to achieve realistic sculpture with a sophisticated emotional clarity. The subject matter of his sculptures ranges from people to a wide variety of animals, both wild and domesticated.
