Description

“That lovely month when everyone goes blissfully astray,” wrote Alan Jay Lerner in Camelot. Rockwood’s Poet in Residence, David P. Kozinski, will read and talk about poems of love and lust by John Donne, Elizabeth Barrett Browning, Robert Lowell and Jane Kenyon, as well as a few of his own. Bring one poem or two very short ones for the “open mic.” (36 max)
Scholastic Writing Awards multi-winner Katelyn Pei will read from her work.

Katelyn Pei is a 10th grader at Sanford School. A National Gold Medalist and American Voices Medal recipient in the Scholastic Writing Awards, she writes to explore memory, emotion, and the quiet spaces between words. She sees writing as thought made visible—fragile, precise, and luminous. Outside of writing, she loves learning about new cultures and languages. She is trilingual in English, Chinese, and French.
