In honor of Black History Month, the recital is titled “Resonating Heritage: A Tribute to the Diaspora.” Repertoire includes a traditional Haitian Hymn, songs by Robert Owens and William Grant Still, a piano solo by Margaret Bonds, spirituals by Hall Johnson and Moses Hogan, and the WORLD PREMIERE of “Songs for Moses Possible” by Lorna Young-Wright.
This concert will be held at 7PM on February 8th at Presbyterian Church of the Covenant: 503 Duncan Road, Wilmington, DE 19809. Admission is free and open to the public, with a $20 suggested donation. This event is also family-friendly.
