Description

Together with Arts at Covenant, Wilmington Concert Opera is delighted to be showcasing baritone Moses Possible and pianist Elina Galletta in our very first live recital!

In honor of Black History Month, the recital is titled “Resonating Heritage: A Tribute to the Diaspora.” Repertoire includes a traditional Haitian Hymn, songs by Robert Owens and William Grant Still, a piano solo by Margaret Bonds, spirituals by Hall Johnson and Moses Hogan, and the WORLD PREMIERE of “Songs for Moses Possible” by Lorna Young-Wright.

This concert will be held at 7PM on February 8th at Presbyterian Church of the Covenant: 503 Duncan Road, Wilmington, DE 19809. Admission is free and open to the public, with a $20 suggested donation. This event is also family-friendly.

Moses Possible has previously appeared in our production of “Die Fledermaus.” Elina Galletta makes her mainstage Wilmington Concert Opera debut with this concert.
