For September, we’re headed to back to one of our most popular happy hours – The Delaware Art Museum. Bring a beach chair and/or blanket and hang out with us in the sculpture garden There will be live music, two bars and food for purchase. This is an all ages event.WHAT IS OUR NIGHT OUT WILMINGTON?Our Night Out Wilmington is an LGBTQ+ social group. The group was created to crowd-storm local establishments in Wilmington to both raise visibility of our community and create fun opportunities to socialize, network, and have fun in the process. As a richly diverse city, we warmly welcome people of color and all gender identities at each and every event in order for us to become a truer reflection of that diversity.Our Night Out Wilmington is free. Free to join, free to enter each venue. You just pay for your own food & drink. To keep scheduling easy and consistent, our events will be held on the third Thursday of each month.WHAT IS THE DELAWARE ART MUSEUM?The live music, seasonal beverages, food trucks, vendors, and lawn games you love are back! Enjoy a cocktail while strolling in the sculpture garden and toast to summer in a lively, artful atmosphere on Thursday evenings all season long. And while you are here, enjoy a tour in the Museum’s galleries, open with free admission Thursday evenings.Featuring: Genesis Z and the Black Mambas (5:15-7:15 pm) and DJ Kaadi (7:30-9 pm) and Los Taquitos de PueblaThis is a rain or shine event. Happy hour may be moved inside due to inclement weather. The Delaware Art Museum is a private, not-for-profit 501(c)(3) corporation.PARKINGThere is a parking lot behind the museum, but it’s likely to fill up quick. There is also ample free parking in the neighborhood on both sides of Kentmere Parkway.
