Description

This young, yet well-established garden gives the impression of being much older and carefully curated. Kelly, the home and garden owner, has a Master’s degree in environmental science, and worked in land planning and urban design. She also worked with the National Arboretum as an Assistant to the Bonsai collection. You are greeted by garden beds filled with an array of shade-tolerant shrubs and perennials with texture and color that play off each other. Roses climbing on beautiful handmade trellises, created by Kelly herself, extend the garden upwards. As the president of her neighborhood association, she has also extended her planting expertise into neighborhood common areas for all to enjoy. When you enter the development, take notice of the new plantings of trees and perennials.

This is not hosted at the Delaware Center for Horticulture. Address and directions will be emailed to you upon registration.
