Voted Best Walking Paths in Delaware, Rockwood’s staff is starting a Hike and Brunch series of themed walks through the parks surrounding Rockwood on the Delaware Greenways Trail followed by an excellent outdoor boozy brunch catered by Prime Hospitality, our new event caterers at the Carriage House.
Hikes are be co-hosted by a different speaker to talk on a wide variety of local outdoor topics including bird migration, bats, local geology and apiaries.
This Hike and Brunch features the writer of Foraging Pennsylvania and New Jersey, the Wild Edibles Lady, Debbie Naha-Koretzky, through Rockwood and Bringhurst Woods in search of seasonal wild foods.
For now most brunches will be themed to the hike, boxed for safety, will take place outside and will be accompanied by a mimosa and bloody-mary bar. Join us for the best brunch option in the city and discover adventures in your own backyard.
