Join us each month for DelArt Nights, where art, community, and creativity come alive in fresh and exciting ways. Taking place on select Thursday evenings, October to April, each event features music and an immersive arts and culture experience—from engaging gallery experiences and performances to hands-on arts and crafts. Guests can enjoy a festive atmosphere with plenty of opportunities for socializing, along with a full bar and delicious food available for purchase. Every DelArt Night is unique, with free general admission and ever-changing cultural elements. No two nights are the same.
For January’s DelArt Night, we’re celebrating the vibrant spirit that continues to shape Delaware’s artistic story with live music and a special tour of Imprinted: Illustrating Race. The evening features Arnold Hurt and The Funk Factory Band, bringing an exciting blend of jazz, funk, and soulful energy. This dynamic ensemble will fill the museum with rhythm, joy, and community as we honor 250 years of Delaware’s creativity and culture.

About Arnold Hurtt Funk Factory Band
The Arnold Hurtt Funk Factory Band is a dynamic 5-piece ensemble led by Arnold Hurtt himself on trumpet. They’ve been singing and playing rhythm and blues together since they were kids, and their mission is simple: to make you feel what they feel — and what they feel is real!
Having performed and studied alongside legendary acts like Kool & the Gang, The O’Jays, Roberta Flack, and The Funkadelics, they’re more than ready to bring classic soul to the evening. Specializing in rhythm and blues with a heavy groove, the Arnold Hurtt Funk Factory Band delivers a sound that’s timeless, powerful, and deeply moving.
