Wilmington Brew Works
Wilmington Brew Works is the only production brewery in Delaware’s largest city. Housed in a 100-year old former laboratory in the old Ninth Ward, they’re keeping the spirit of the building’s origins alive with new and innovative Ales, Lagers, Sours and Ciders.
Playfully Pretentious, Easily Enjoyed.
Grant Claytor
In a small town in north Jersey, among old Italian men making bread and yelling at each other through their adjacent windows, you’ll find Grant Claytor – strumming his guitar, writing the lyrics to his next album, or playing video games with his dog and cats by his side.
Ask Grant how he began making music, and he’ll walk you through the years he spent creating songs he’d eventually debut at the University of Delaware, where he met his four band mates. His live band consists of Ramiro Bruno (guitar), Nic Pirhalla (bass), Drew Rackie (drums),and Henry Wolgast (keys). By the time they met, Claytor had written most of his first album, “Thank You For Shopping With Me”, and the band wasted no time playing house basements and student centers. Before graduating college, Grant had explored his beachy, affectional sound through several more releases- namely, his first EP, “Beautiful Little Fool”, and his second full-length record, “CAPRICE”. Before they knew it, Grant and his band were touring up the Northeast, selling out small venues and packing houses.
“The New Jersey native’s music has an emotive quality which feels both melancholic and light-hearted; Grant’s songs combine laid back surfer instrumentals and contemplative lyrics evocative of grey days on East Coast beaches.” – Kate Twomey, WRGW Music
