Jenifer Lewis is one of Hollywood’s most familiar faces, with more than 300 appearances in film and television. Dubbed a “national treasure” by TV Guide.com, Jenifer stars on the hit show Black-ish (ABC), where her hilarious portrayal of “Ruby Johnson” earned her a nomination for the 2016 Critics Choice Award. Although best known for her Hollywood success, Jenifer has enjoyed a wide-ranging and varied career in music and theater. She has recently earned a Star on Hollywoods Walk of Fame. Registration is required to attend this FREE event. Come hear us “Chop it Up” with Jenifer Lewis in person at our library with moderator Tonya Baynes. *Registration is one per person. If you are in a group everyone must register individually to save a seat. *Ms. Lewis’ book will be available for purchase while supplies last or you can purchase online and bring your book with you. Ms. Lewis will sign books at the end of the event.
