Description
In Blue Moon, director Richard Linklater presents a haunting night in the life of legendary lyricist Lorenz Hart (Ethan Hawke), who arrives at the opening-night party for his former partner’s Broadway smash, Oklahoma!. As the champagne flows and the applause roars, Hart finds himself not only watching someone else claim the limelight, but also confronting the unraveling of his creative voice, his fading relevance and the elusive promise of love.
By the time this evening ends, Hart will have confronted both a world that no longer values his talent and the seeming impossibility of love.
