Description
The Wilmington Library will host an amateur sweet potato pie contest in tribute to Mary McLeod Bethune who sold her famous sweet potato pies to raise money for her first school for black girls.
For City of Wilmington Residents, 1 entry per person, and pies must be homemade. Winners will receive a cash prize.
Drop off between 12 pm and 1:30 pm, judging will begin at 2:00 pm.
