There are countless studies published about the health benefits of chocolate, from helping the cardio-vascular system to improving brain functions.
While we can all appreciate those health benefits – I think I speak for a majority of people when I say, “health benefits, shmealth benefits – give me some chocolate!”
This Saturday, February 14, the Wilmington Library is hosting its annual Chocolate Festival from 11:00 in the morning until 2:00 in the afternoon.
I’ll quote from the Wilmington Library page:
Come to taste your way through the best cakes, candies, cookies and brownies in the area. The entrance fee is $2 for adults, $1.00 for children, and tasting tickets are 50 cents each. The fun lasts from 11 a.m. till 2 p.m.—or until the chocolate runs out. In addition to chocolate, there will be exciting raffles and children’s activities.
Entrance Fee: $2.00 adults, $1.00 children under 12, Taste Tickets: 50¢ each.
